EuroSouvenir notes are a private commemorative series launched in 2017, sold as collector items rather than circulated through any central bank. Oberthur Fiduciaire, one of France's principal security printers with deep roots in Rennes, produces the physical notes to genuine banknote specification — the paper, security features, and print quality are not decorative approximations. The Étretat cliffs on the Normandy coast became one of the series' early and persistent subjects, reflecting the site's unusual pull on collectors and tourists alike.
