EuroSouvenir 0 euro notes are a licensed souvenir scheme operating under Banque de France authorization, with Oberthur Fiduciaire supplying the printing — the same firm responsible for genuine euro banknotes across multiple eurozone contracts. The notes carry no monetary value and are sold directly to the public at tourist attractions, which is precisely what distinguishes them from commemorative issues produced by actual central banks.
The Dino World edition from 2021 is one of several hundred attraction-specific variants in the series, each produced in controlled print runs that Oberthur tracks by site.
