备注

The J'accuse...! souvenir zero euro commemorates the 123rd anniversary of Zola's open letter to President Félix Faure, published in L'Aurore on 13 January 1898. Oberthur Fiduciaire — one of the few remaining independent security printers in Europe and a longtime supplier of genuine euro-denomination notes — produces the entire EuroSouvenir series to full banknote specification, which is precisely the commercial hook: collectors pay for the manufacturing pedigree, not the face value.

Zola fled to England following his conviction for criminal libel after publishing the letter. He was eventually amnestied, but never formally acquitted.
