0 Euro - Dolomitenstadt Lienz - Tirol

EuroSouvenir notes are a private commemorative program launched in 2015, sold through local tourism offices and shops across Europe. They carry no legal tender status anywhere. Oberthur Fiduciaire, which prints a substantial share of the series, produces them to the same technical specifications as circulating euro banknotes — including the security thread and UV-reactive inks — partly to discourage forgery of actual currency through familiarity with the format.

Lienz is the administrative seat of East Tyrol, geographically isolated from the rest of Tyrol by the Hohe Tauern range. The "Dolomitenstadt" designation reflects the town's position at the edge of the Lienzer Dolomiten, the westernmost extension of the Dolomite system.
