The EuroSouvenir scheme, administered under licence from the European Central Bank, authorises the printing of legal-tender-format zero-denomination notes for sale as commemoratives at tourist sites. Oberthur Fiduciaire produces the majority of these on genuine banknote paper using the same intaglio security infrastructure applied to circulating euro notes — which is precisely why they pass casual inspection and occasionally cause confusion at points of sale.

Dino Parque Lourinhã occupies an unusual position in Portuguese palaeontology: the Lourinhã Formation has yielded some of the best-preserved Late Jurassic dinosaur embryos ever found, including eggs attributed to Lourinhanosaurus. The museum holds genuine scientific collections, not reconstructions.
