Opis awersu	The obverse is dominated by a large intaglio-style vignette of a Type 206A submarine rendered in deep violet-maroon tones against a multicolour guilloche underprint in lavender and yellow. At upper left, the Technik Museen Sinsheim Speyer logo appears alongside a miniature European Union flag, with the large numeral '0' denomination at centre-left and the bold inscription 'DAS U-BOOT 17' over the figure '17' in the central field. The serial number appears at lower right beneath a facsimile signature of R. Faille, C.E.O., with 'EURO SOUV ENIR' in a stacked cartouche at lower left.
