Eurosouvenirs 0 Euro notes are a French-origin collector scheme launched around 2015, produced under license by Oberthur Fiduciaire — one of the same security printers that has produced genuine euro banknotes for the Banque de France. They carry no monetary value and are not legal tender anywhere, but they are printed to genuine banknote security specifications, including proper intaglio printing and UV-reactive features. The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 series was among the larger themed releases, with individual national squad issues produced for multiple participating countries.
