The Church of Peace in Jawor — along with its twin in Świdnica — was built under strict conditions imposed by the Habsburg authorities following the Peace of Westphalia in 1648: no stone, no towers, no bells, no location within the town walls. The result was a vast timber-framed structure capable of holding several thousand worshippers, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Oberthur Fiduciaire produced this souvenir note to the same security specification as circulating issues, cotton substrate and hologram included, which is precisely what makes the 0 Euro format appealing to collectors who want genuine fiduciary printing without the acquisition cost of a rare historical piece.
