Comments

The 0 Euro souvenir series, produced under license from the European Central Bank, has been running since 2015 and is printed by Oberthur Fiduciaire to genuine euro-specification security standards — same cotton substrate, same watermark protocol. The Chrobry Embankment issue is one of dozens of Polish civic and heritage subjects that have entered the series, with municipalities and cultural institutions commissioning individual designs from local artists. Monika Alicja Żak and Mariusz W. Brzeziński handled the artwork here, which is unusually specific attribution for a souvenir format that often credits no one at all.
