| Opmerkingen |
Euro Souvenir notes occupy a peculiar niche — legal tender for zero euros, sold for several euros, and collectible precisely because they will never circulate. Oberthur Fiduciaire prints them to the same security specifications as genuine euro banknotes, including UV-reactive inks and microprinting, which is part of what justifies the retail markup at heritage sites.
Château d'Amboise is where Leonardo da Vinci is buried, having died there in 1519 under the patronage of François I. That connection gives the site genuine historical weight beyond its Loire Valley setting.
