正面描述 Violet-toned souvenir note on a fine guilloche underprint, with a central intaglio vignette of the two medieval towers of Bologna — the Torre degli Asinelli and the leaning Torre Garisenda — rising above the Romanesque and Baroque civic architecture of Piazza di Porta Ravegnana. At left, a large intaglio '0' numeral is set against a pale ground within a ring of twelve gold stars, while the upper left carries a blue EU flag vignette with the circular 'EUROSOUVENIR' legend and a holographic silver foil strip at upper right. The facsimile signature of R. Faille, C.E.O., together with the serial number, appears at lower right.

背面描述 The standard Euro Souvenir reverse is printed in violet and multicolour intaglio on a guilloche underprint, with a composite panoramic vignette of celebrated European landmarks arranged left to right: the Brandenburg Gate, the Torre de Belém, the Colosseum, the Eiffel Tower, the Sagrada Família, and the Manneken Pis statue, surmounted by a ring of gold EU stars across the upper field. A vertical dark security thread runs through the centre of the note. The 'EURO SOUVENIR' logotype with its distinctive orange and purple arc device appears at lower right, accompanied by the printer's imprint.

备注

Euro Souvenir notes are a collector-focused series issued under an ECB-sanctioned framework that permits reproduction of euro-format notes provided they carry a zero denomination — the legal mechanism that prevents them from circulating as currency. Oberthur Fiduciaire, one of the few printers authorized to produce genuine euro banknotes, handles the series, which is why the security thread and hologram on this piece are functional rather than decorative.

The Garisenda, the shorter of Bologna's two medieval towers, was partially dismantled in the 14th century after subsidence made it unstable. Dante mentions it in the Inferno.
