| Obverse description | Violet-toned souvenir note on a fine guilloche underprint, with a central intaglio vignette of the two medieval towers of Bologna — the Torre degli Asinelli and the leaning Torre Garisenda — rising above the Romanesque and Baroque civic architecture of Piazza di Porta Ravegnana. At left, a large intaglio '0' numeral is set against a pale ground within a ring of twelve gold stars, while the upper left carries a blue EU flag vignette with the circular 'EUROSOUVENIR' legend and a holographic silver foil strip at upper right.
