Opmerkingen

EuroSouvenir notes are a legally sanctioned collector series issued under European Central Bank tolerance since 2015 — they carry no monetary value and are not legal tender, but they are printed to full banknote specification by licensed security printers. Oberthur Fiduciaire, one of the few firms in Europe with that authorization, produces them to the same physical standard as circulating currency.

Berck-sur-Mer, a coastal town in the Pas-de-Calais, has a specific medical history worth knowing: its dry sea air made it a destination for tuberculosis and bone disease treatment from the mid-19th century onward, and several dedicated orthopedic hospitals still operate there today.
