Eurosouvenirs notes are a licensed collector product — legal tender in no jurisdiction, but printed to the same technical standard as genuine currency by Oberthur Fiduciaire, one of the few security printers with active central bank contracts across Europe and Africa. The choice of printer is not incidental; it's a selling point, and the resulting paper, inks, and security features are substantively closer to real banknotes than most collectors expect from a souvenir item.

The Arcul de Triumf in Bucharest was completed in its current permanent form in 1936, replacing two earlier temporary structures, the first of which was hastily erected in wood for the 1922 coronation of Ferdinand I.
