EuroSouvenir's zero-denomination collector notes are printed to full De La Rue-equivalent security standards by Oberthur Fiduciaire — watermark, security thread, and all — because EU regulations require it. A souvenir that looks too much like real currency without the safeguards would be a counterfeiting liability. The zero denomination is the legal workaround: technically not money, therefore not regulated as money, but produced as if it were.

The Westertoren tower, completed in 1638, was the tallest structure in Amsterdam for centuries. Rembrandt is buried in the Westerkerk at its base.
