The Atelier Musée de l'Imprimerie in Malesherbois — a small town in the Loiret — operates out of a working print museum that actively demonstrates letterpress, lithography, and intaglio techniques. The souvenir 0 euro program gave institutions like this one a commercially convenient hook: Oberthur Fiduciaire printed the notes to full ECB security specifications, including the holographic strip, which means a print museum is selling, as its souvenir, a product it could never have manufactured itself.
