The anniversary inscription and licensed official product notice appear as principal legends, accompanied by the EUROSOUVENIR series reference and the signature of R. Faille, C.E.O. of MEAP. The Estádio das Antas opened in 1952 as the home of FC Porto and was demolished in 2004 to make way for the Estádio do Dragão, built for Euro 2004. This commemorative zero-euro souvenir note marks the seventieth anniversary of the original ground — a building that no longer exists. Oberthur Fiduciaire, the dominant producer of this collector souvenir format across Europe, printed the piece in France. The watermark is present as a nod to genuine banknote production standards, though these notes have never held any monetary value or legal tender status in any jurisdiction.
