Slovakia's postal service issued this commemorative zero-euro note in 2023 to mark two centuries since the introduction of organized stagecoach express post routes through the territory. The zero-denomination souvenir format — now a firmly established collector genre across Europe — is printed by Oberthur Fiduciaire in France, the same firm responsible for a substantial portion of the continent's legitimate currency output, which lends these pieces their genuine banknote feel despite carrying no monetary value.
Designer A. Ferda handled the artwork. The watermark security feature is standard for the Oberthur souvenir euro program.
