备注	Ribesalbes is a small ceramic-producing municipality in Castellón with a population that barely reached a few hundred during the 1930s. Like hundreds of other Spanish towns cut off from functional banking during the Civil War, the Consejo Municipal issued its own fractional paper to substitute for coinage that had disappeared from circulation almost overnight after July 1936 — hoarded, melted, or simply lost in the chaos. These hyper-local emissions were technically illegal under Republican monetary regulations but were tolerated out of necessity.
