正面描述 The face is printed in red letterpress on a yellow diamond-pattern underprint filling the entire field. The issuer's name 'Consell Municipal d'Albons' is set in large arched red capitals across the upper portion, below which a red horizontal rule separates the denomination area. The value '0'50' appears twice — once as a large yellow underprint numeral and again in bold red letterpress — above the currency inscription 'PESSETES', with a serial number and ornamental asterisk at lower left; the border consists of a red scalloped frame.

备注

Albons is a tiny municipality in the Alt Empordà comarca of Girona, and this note is one of hundreds of hyper-local emergency fractional issues produced across Catalonia during the Spanish Civil War. When the Republic's central government failed to keep small-denomination coinage in circulation — copper and silver disappeared through hoarding and wartime disruption almost immediately after July 1936 — municipalities down to village level were authorized, then eventually required, to print their own substitute currency. Albons had a population of a few hundred.

Turró's catalog documents the issue, but surviving examples are genuinely rare by any standard. Small-run local paper rarely made it past the immediate postwar.
