背面描述 Vignette in a cartoon-illustrative style portrays a Walpurgis Night scene with witches ascending the Brocken mountain on broomsticks, rendered in the expressive artistic manner characteristic of Serienscheine notgeld of the early 1920s. A letterpress 0,50 Mark overprint is applied over the original 1,60 Mark denomination. The issuer name is inscribed across the note.

备注

Kraftverkehrsgesellschaft m.b.H. was a regional motor transport company in Braunschweig, and like hundreds of German commercial enterprises in 1921, it found itself issuing emergency money — Notgeld — simply to have small change on hand during a period when the Reichsbank could not keep pace with denominations needed for daily transactions. This note is an overprint variant: a 1.60 Mark base was overprinted to read 0.50 Mark, a practice that sounds chaotic but was entirely deliberate, reflecting rapid denomination adjustments as inflation shifted purchasing power faster than new print runs could follow.

F. Jüttner's design work appears across multiple Braunschweig Notgeld issues of the period. The watermarked paper suggests Appelhans went to some effort here — most transport-company Notgeld was printed on whatever stock was available.
