备注

Lezuza is a small municipality in Albacete province, and like hundreds of similar towns across Republican Spain, it issued its own fractional paper currency during the Civil War after the withdrawal of metallic coinage from circulation created a near-total breakdown in small-change transactions. These municipal emergency emissions — known collectively as moneda local — were produced under no central regulatory framework, which is why the quality, format, and survival rates vary so dramatically from one town to the next.

The handwritten serial number and applied stamp were the only authentication controls the Consejo Municipal could realistically manage. The Garrido Monetary catalog reference remains unassigned, suggesting this piece has not been formally attributed or is known from very few examples.
