Opmerkingen

Lalueza is a small village in Huesca province, Aragon — the kind of municipality that would never appear in a numismatic catalog under ordinary circumstances. The Civil War created extraordinary ones. With the Republic's small-denomination coinage disappearing from circulation almost immediately after July 1936, hundreds of Aragonese councils issued their own emergency paper fractions, authorized under a broad but loosely supervised Republican framework. Lalueza's 25-céntimo note is one of that sprawl.

Gari Montllor's documentation of these Spanish municipal emissions remains the primary reference, and the 810-A designation suggests at least one variant exists for this denomination.
