0.25 Pesetas Esparraguera; Manufacturas Sedó, E. C.

Manufacturas Sedó was a large textile and paper mill complex in Esparraguera, Catalonia. Like dozens of Catalan industrial enterprises during the Civil War, it issued its own fractional currency when Republican-zone coinage vanished from circulation almost entirely after mid-1936 — hoarded, melted, or simply absent. These notes, collectively catalogued under the Ajuntaments i col·lectivitats series, were legal only within the immediate community tied to the issuing entity and had no standing beyond the factory gates or the local cooperative network.

The AL#610 designation places this within Aguiló's regional census of Catalan Civil War emergency issues, a body of material that remains incompletely documented.
