备注	Busot is a small village in the province of Alicante, and like hundreds of Spanish municipalities during the Civil War, it issued its own fractional paper currency in 1937 to address the near-total disappearance of metal coinage from circulation. Republican-zone hoarding and melting of coins for the war effort created a crippling small-change shortage — local councils had no legal authority to issue currency but did so anyway, out of practical necessity. These village-level emissions were typically produced in very small print runs, often on whatever paper stock was locally available. Survival rates are uneven; many were redeemed and pulped, others simply lost.
