Obverse description Bare head of Hera facing left, wearing a stephane decorated with palmette motifs. The hair falls in long wavy locks along the neck, rendered in fine relief typical of Sicilian bronzes of the late Punic period. The facial features are classically idealized, with a straight nose and softly modeled cheek. The field is plain, with no legend or inscription.

Reverse description Man-faced bull advancing to the left, a common Sicilian river-god type. Above the bull's head, the radiate head of Helios appears as a secondary divinity. In the exergue, the ethnic inscription 'SYS' is rendered in Punic characters, identifying the mint city of Ziz (Panormus). The composition follows established Sicelo-Punic iconographic conventions of the third century BC.
