| 正面描述 | Diademed and draped bust of Artemis facing right, with bow and quiver slung over her left shoulder. The hair is arranged in a characteristic Hellenistic fashion, secured by a diadem, with the quiver strap visible across the chest. The relief is bold and the portraiture reflects the refined artistic tradition of late Hellenistic Cilician civic coinage. |

Soloi was one of the principal cities of Cilicia Pedias, the flatter eastern portion of the region, and remained commercially active through the turbulent final century of Seleucid collapse and the gradual absorption of the area into Roman provincial administration. The city gave its name, via its notoriously mixed dialect of Greek, to the word "solecism." Bronze civic issues of this period were produced to serve local exchange as central authority fragmented repeatedly around them.
SNG Levante 859 places this piece within a well-documented but chronologically loose sequence of Solian bronzes. Precise die studies for the series remain limited.
