Reverse description A large Macedonian-style shield depicted in relief at centre, shown as a raised circular boss surrounded by a concentric border and dotted inner ring, evoking the characteristic hoplon design. The Greek legend OΛBIO ЄYPH is inscribed around the shield in the field, reading circularly. The entire composition is enclosed within a dotted border, a hallmark of Olbian civic bronze coinage of the late Hellenistic period.
