| Obverse description | Bare laureate head of Apollo facing left, rendered in the fourth-century Greek style with softly modelled facial features, wavy hair bound by a laurel wreath, and long flowing locks descending behind the neck. The portrait is executed in relatively high relief against a plain field, occupying most of the flan. The workmanship reflects the civic coinage tradition of the Troad region. |
