Obverse description Youthful head of Dionysos facing right, adorned with an ivy wreath, the curling locks rendered in fine detail against a smooth field. The effigy is depicted with youthful, idealized features characteristic of Sicilian Greek bronze coinage of the Hellenistic period. A dotted border encircles the design.

Reverse description A pendulous bunch of grapes occupying the central field, rendered in high relief with individual spherical berries clearly articulated, suspended from a short stalk with a leaf. The ethnic legend TYNΔAPITAN is disposed around the bunch in the field, reading clockwise, in Greek characters. The whole is set within a plain border.
