| Descrizione del dritto | Draped bust of a female divinity — identified in the numismatic literature as either a local nymph or Persephone — facing right, her elaborately rendered hair swept back and secured with a wreath or stephane, with loose locks falling to the neck. The facial features are rendered with fine archaic-influenced naturalism characteristic of South Italian bronzes of the mid-fourth century BC. The field is plain, and no legend is present. |

The scene reflects the rustic, pastoral cult associations of Pan as venerated in the interior regions of Bruttium. |
