Reverse description A stylized winged thunderbolt depicted upright in the central field, enclosed within a circular olive wreath tied at the base. The wreath leaves are rendered in low relief with a naturalistic arrangement of branches curving symmetrically around the central device. The type alludes to the Homeric association of Ithaca with Zeus and the Odyssean tradition.
