Obverse description Draped bust of Artemis facing right, her hair arranged and bound, depicted in the Hellenistic style typical of late Republican-era Cretan civic bronze coinage. The portrait occupies the central field of the flan, with the surface heavily worn and encrusted with dark green patina consistent with prolonged burial. No legend is present on the obverse.
