| Obverse description | Radiate head of Helios facing three-quarters to the right, rendered in high relief with characteristic splayed rays emanating from the crown of the head. The facial features are rendered in the refined Hellenistic tradition, with a clearly delineated eye, straight nose, and subtly parted lips. The neck is bare and the truncation falls cleanly at the lower edge of the flan. The overall style is consistent with Rhodian civic bronze coinage of the late Republican period. |
