Reverse description An eight-spoked wheel with a central boss, the spokes dividing the field into eight equal segments, bordered by a dotted circle. The ethnic legend TYNΔAPITAN is distributed around the wheel between the spokes, reading in a circular arrangement. The composition is well-centred and typical of Hellenistic Sicilian civic bronze coinage, where the wheel motif may carry solar or civic symbolism.
