| Obverse description | Radiate head of Helios facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic style with characteristic rays emanating from the crown of the head. The youthful, idealized visage displays finely engraved facial features including a straight nose, slightly parted lips, and naturalistic hair falling in loose locks about the neck. The field is plain, with the portrait occupying the full flan in high relief typical of Rhodian bronze coinage of the late Hellenistic period. |
