Obverse description Bearded male head in left profile, rendered in the Skythian manner with long flowing hair and a full beard; the facial features are boldly modelled in a naturalistic style characteristic of Hellenistic civic bronzes of the western Pontic region. The head occupies the full field of the flan with no legend or border.
