Reverse description
Denomination over the coat of arms: An Andean condor facing right and holding an olive crown is perched on top of a shield. “Libertad y Orden” is on a scroll in between the bird and the shield. The national flag is draped on each side of the shield. The shield is broken into three portions. In the lowermost portion there are two ships. The Phrygia cap is in the middle section. The topmost section contains a pomegranate flanked by two cornucopias. Weight on the left of the coat of arms, fineness on the right, and mint on the bottom.
