Reverse description The reverse carries the institutional branding of ZOO Zlín with the conservation slogan 'Nekupuj, adoptuj!' (Do not buy, adopt!) alongside references to wildlife species protection. A central portrait vignette of Charles Darwin (1809–1882) underscores the scientific and conservation theme of the issue. The 'ZOOLAR' currency designation, serial number, and the director's signature line are printed in the lower portion.

Comments

ZOO Zlín is one of the few Czech zoos to issue its own scrip-style paper notes, a practice more common among transport authorities and municipal utilities than wildlife institutions. Státní tiskárna cenin — the Czech state security printer responsible for official banknotes and stamps — produced this piece, which gives it a level of technical execution well above typical souvenir issues. The involvement of three named designers is unusual and suggests a deliberately commissioned artwork rather than a repurposed template.
