| Obverse description | Central field occupied by a three-line Arabic inscription in bold naskh script reading 'al-Sultan al-A'zam / Tuli Buqa Khan / zarb Qirim sana' (The Supreme Sultan / Tole Buqa Khan / struck at Qrim, year). The legend is enclosed within a plain inner circle surrounded by a prominent outer border of raised pellets. The flan is irregular and slightly chipped at the edge, characteristic of hammered Golden Horde coinage of the late 13th century. |
