| Obverse description | Central field features a small inner circle containing the Batu dynastic tamga — a bifurcated prong symbol with a distinctive crossbar on the left prong. Surrounding the central device is a circular Arabic legend occupying the outer field, rendered in cursive Naskh script. The legend proclaims the ruler's title and name. The flan is irregular and slightly ragged at the edges, characteristic of hammered Golden Horde dirhams of this period. |
