| Obverse description | Full-length facing figure of the nimbate Saint Peter positioned slightly to the right, vested in episcopal robes and depicted within a Gothic-style pointed portal. The saint holds a cross-staff in his left hand and the Key of Heaven in his right hand. The architectural frame of the portal is rendered in the Gothic manner characteristic of Rhenish coinage of the early fifteenth century. A circular legend runs along the coin's periphery in Gothic lettering. |
