Obverse description A newlywed couple in classical dress stands at the top of a flight of stairs, the veiled bride on the left clasping the groom's hand, with rose petals scattered at their feet and an anchor motif visible on the steps below. In the upper right field, a putto flies overhead scattering rosebuds. The engraver's signature appears in the lower exergue.
