Reverse description Central device consists of the distinctive pitchfork-shaped tamgha of Chach, a trident-like dynastic emblem with three upward prongs rising from a common base, serving as the heraldic symbol of the ruling house. The tamgha occupies the central field and is surrounded by a marginal Sogdian legend. The flan is irregular with a finely worn, darkly patinated surface, consistent with hammered bronze coinage of the early medieval Sogdian tradition in the Tashkent oasis region.
