| Reverse description | The distinctive tamgha of Kanka occupies the central field, serving as the principal dynastic emblem of the ruling authority. The tamgha is encircled by a Sogdian inscription arranged around the device in the customary manner of Chach coinage of this period. The flan is irregular with a rough, uneven surface characteristic of locally produced hammered bronze issues of the 7th–9th centuries CE. |
