| Reverse description | Central field bears the distinctive tamgha of Bukhara, a symbolic dynastic emblem rendered in a bold, abstract form consisting of a circular or crescent-shaped device with a central vertical element. This tamgha served as the identifying mark of the Bukhar Khudat rulers and is the primary design element on the reverse. The flan is irregular and the relief is flat, consistent with the crude hammered fabric typical of early Islamic-period Transoxianan bronze coinage. The field surrounding the tamgha is plain. |
