Obverse description The obverse features the color enameled heraldic shield of the 2nd Battalion, 157th Field Artillery Regiment, divided into a blue chief with snow-capped white mountains and a red base bearing a stylized artillery piece or cannon breech in relief. The legend '2-157 FA BN' arcs along the upper border and 'EAGER FOR DUTY' curves along the lower border, both raised within a plain outer rim.
