Obverse description Central field dominated by a large Kharosthi symbol rendered in bold relief, appearing as a geometric angular character with intersecting strokes enclosed within a square form. The flan is of irregular rectangular shape with a rough, granular surface texture characteristic of hammered gold coinage. Additional Kharosthi characters or decorative devices appear in the corners of the flan. The execution is typical of the late Indo-Greek workshop tradition, combining native Indian script elements within a square punch design.
