| Obverse description | Central field dominated by a bull or bovine figure in motion, rendered in the characteristically schematic style of early Indian civic coinage. To the left, a staff or standard with pendant decorative elements occupies the field. The composition is framed by scattered pellets and auxiliary symbols distributed across the flat, irregular flan.
