Obverse description Bare male head facing right, depicted in the Ibero-Hellenistic style, with flowing curly hair rendered in rope-like locks; the figure wears a mantle fastened at the shoulder by a fibula. A dotted border frames the design within the irregular flan. The modelling of the facial features reflects local Iberian interpretations of Hellenistic portraiture current in Hispania during the second century BC.

Reverse description Horseman advancing to the right at full gallop, rendered in the characteristic Iberian equestrian style; the rider extends his right arm forward holding a palm branch, a symbol of victory commonly found on Iberian coinage of this period. Below the horse, an Iberian legend in Levantine semi-syllabic script identifies the mint of Tarraco (Kese). The composition occupies the full flan, with the figure exhibiting vigorous, if somewhat schematic, execution typical of provincial Hispanic bronzes.
